Front end absorbers review and upgrade with copper-zirconium CuCr1Zr apertures for ESRF-EBS

To ensure the reliability of its new-generation beamlines, the ESRF is addressing a materials engineering challenge by adopting and rigorously testing the copper alloy CuCr1Zr for manufacturing durable, high-performance heat-absorbing components.
